Editorial Policy
AFIN — America First Intelligence Network — is a news aggregator and civic-data dashboard. This policy explains how we choose sources, how AI is used, and how we handle accuracy, bias, and corrections.
How we select sources
AFIN aggregates news from a curated list of 15 outlets that publish documented editorial standards, masthead-level accountability, and public corrections processes. Outlets are reviewed periodically and may be added or removed as their standards change.
Aggregation, not editorialization
AFIN aggregates headlines and links only. We do not alter, rewrite, or editorialize third-party article content. Clicking a story takes you to the original publisher.
AI-generated content
Any summary, answer, or briefing produced by AI is clearly labeled with an "AI Summary" tag throughout the app. AI output is derived from public, primary sources and is provided for convenience — always verify against the linked source before acting on it.
Bias labels
Where shown, Left / Center / Right bias labels are applied at the outlet level based on independent media-bias research. They are not applied to individual stories and are not a judgment about any specific article's accuracy.
Corrections and reporting inaccurate content
To report an inaccuracy, broken link, or misattributed source, email tips@afin.app. We review reports promptly and will remove or correct aggregated entries when warranted.
Third-party content
AFIN is not responsible for the editorial decisions, accuracy, or opinions of third-party publishers whose headlines we aggregate. All trademarks and copyrights remain with their respective owners.
